NSW Outback
Camera: Hasselblad 500C Film: Kodak Ektar 100 & Portra 800 location: West NSW Country: Australia
Embarking on a motorcycle expedition across New South Wales wasn't merely about traversing distances; it was a quest for something else. With each twist of the throttle, I sought the embrace of remoteness, craving the silence that only the vast Australian landscape could offer. Beyond the asphalt, I immersed myself in the land of true Australian culture, intricately woven with the land and its indigenous roots. Amidst the rugged terrain and under those ominous open skies, my journey unfolded as a blend of adventure and reverence. Portra 800 and Ektar 100 strategically respectively chosen for handheld conditions and sunset colours rendering, I wanted to capture not just scenes, but stories – tales of solitude, resilience, and the timeless connection between people and nature.
